A busy 2 months since my last update

The nursery is "done"!

Her name in letters on the wall only looks crooked due to the angle of the photo. It is "laser leveled" in real life.

We still need to add some book shelves to the walls and some picture frames. We're thinking of adding some corner shelves to hold the stuffed animals and "pink up" that corner.

No fair!!! Her closet has more new clothes than mine! Hmm... I wonder if I should install a second rod...

Another 3D/4D Ultrasound

We had another 3D/4D ultrasound today! It's very exciting to get to see her moving around. She has my eyelashes, upper lip, baby-cheeks, and lots of hair. She has Roxanne's nose and widow's peak.

The IRS sucks

I got a letter from the IRS sayinig we owed them $21,000 from an audit of 2006! After fetching my 2006 paperwork and staring (and swearing) at it for 2 hours trying to figure out what I did wrong, I realized that the mistake wasn't my mistake it was the IRS! Apparantly, the IRS does not know how to read a W-2. After 2 hours on the phone with the "general" IRS help line (the lady on the other end was probably hired the day before, knew absolutely nothing, and had to put me on hold for 5 minutes to answer every single question), I noticed their was a different 800-number on the audit notice. I called them and told them what their mistake was. The lady re-ran my numbers and less than 2 minutes later she said "You're all set the case is closed. We will send you a confirmation note in the mail in 30 days."
