They moved Merrianna into an isolation chamber (I forget the real name for it), not because anything is wrong with her, rather to help keep anything from going wrong.
It should be a little quieter in her new bed and the constant temperature of the chamber will help her use her energy to grow rather than regulate her body temperature (which she does just fine).
